1. News Of The World - fresh, great flow, fillers fit perfectly with the sound of the album, starts with a bang and ends with whimper - very hard to get tired of this one

2. Sheer Heart Attack - Queen finds their niche, big sounds, daring attempts at different sounds (Bring, Misfire, Lily, Killer Q)

3. A Night At The Opera - classic album.

4. The Game - concise pop at its finest...lean, mean & in control, Queen conquer the world

5. Queen II - Side Black is what makes this album... Freddie takes us to a different time period and it's very hard to wander back...until we reach the shore.

11. Jazz - some great songs, poorly flowing from one to the next - horrible track order, Queen have exhausted their "Queen" sound.

12. Hot Space - not a bad album, but it never really goes anywhere cohesively - it's just an excuse to add more horns - good attempt to change their sound - but not a great album

13. The Miracle - some wonderful songs but poor flow - Was It All Worth It just didn't fit on this album - it would have been regarded as a much better song had it been used somewhere else - like on Made In Heaven - lots of filler here with My Baby Does Me, Rain Must Fall, Invisible Man... even some of the B-sides were better - Hang On In There was waaaay better than My Baby Does Me

14. The Works - uneven, poor flow, no replay value as an album

15. A Kind Of Magic - sometimes adding your soundtrack songs to other songs may not be a good idea - this is not an album, it's an excuse to release your singles on an album and go on a tour... gives the impression that they were running out of ideas... which is why they changed format to write as a band rather than individually - they used the "One Vision" approach.

^ Oh, stop it.  The Game is hardly a pile of rubbish now.  :)  And why do you hate Save Me (as described on another thread) to the degree that you do? It's dramatic and indulgent, but that perfectly captures the feelings of fresh heartbreak.  I think it's a wonderful song.
