Favorites: Night at the Opera, Queen II, Queen, Innuendo and Races.
Worst: Flash, Miracle, and Hot Space probably.
Unsure why Magic is so unpopular for it had many great songs on the album, however it is short. I suppose it should have been the Highlander soundtrack.

It's interesting that the debut album is so polarising - it's in many best lists, and many worst lists.
Best: Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera, The Works, Innuendo, Made In Heaven.
Worst: Queen, News Of The World, Jazz, Flash Gordon, Hot Space.
Note: Only the studio albuns in chronological order.
Just MHO.

I love all the albums, but...
(In no particular order)
Best:
Queen II
A Day at the Races
Sheer Heart Attack
Queen
A Night at the Opera
Worst:
Flash Gordon (The songs are just not my style. Except for Flash's Theme.)
A King of Magic (Some of the songs are kinda boring)
The Works (I had to pick something)
The Game (Same as The Works)
Hot Space ( I actually like all the songs except Body Language.)

Best
Sheer Heart Attack
A Night At The Opera
The Game
Innuendo
As for the last entry into the best list, I'm too indecisive to choose between Queen II, A Day At The Races or The Works.
Worst
The Cosmos Rocks - (I know, it's not really really a Queen album, which comes in handy for worst lists).
Flash - (The Hero sounded far better live anyway)
*The following three aren't ones I really think deserve to be in a worst list - but I've gotta choose something*
News of The World - (I like it, but It's not one I listen to so much).
Hot Space - (Again, I like it, but the production puts me off a bit. And Body Language).
A Kind of Magic.
If it wasn't cheating putting Greatest Hits albums on lists, Greatest Hits 1 would probably be my top choice for the best list.

Ha. I just realised that I entered two Best and Worst lists on this thread (one lot on the previous page). And what I said at the start of my comment on the previous page only proved to be true with my next entry: "Okay, well... This can change from week to week, but this is generally how it goes for me...."

No one care.
I generally like everything from the 'No Synths!' period a lot more.
Best
1. Sheer Heart Attack - At the moment I think this is their best one: they really got their own distinctive sound going on Queen II but they made it a lot more diverse here and even though every song is something completely different, I like them all a lot. Great songwriting, fantastic performance.
2. A Night At The Opera - I had Made in Heaven and Greatest Hits before this one but this was what really turned me into a big fan. I had a tape a friend of mine recorded from his father's ANATO LP which I played endlessly. I think there was a point in Good Company the needle was stuck in a groove and repeated that groove 3 times but it went with the right tempo so I always thought it was supposed to be like that. Until I bought the CD. Also I think this opened my eyes to music in a broader way in general, a lot of the album's ingredients are still what i search for in a good album. I just overplayed it a bit.
3. Queen II - Used to be my favourite for a very long time.
4. News Of The World - I just love this album. I really like the sound and basically all the songs. Gotta love that they start the thing with We Will Rock You AND We Are The Champions.
5. A Day At The Races - If I need to practice my bass playing every now and then, I put on The Millionaire Waltz and try to play along. I can play the thing but it's always a challenge after a longer period of not having played it.
Worst
1. The Works. Like someone here said, it's just the hits and some filler. And I don't even like half of the hits that much. Apart from that: production is not very good. Good songs: Hammer to Fall, It's A Hard Life, Keep Passing The Open Windows.
2. Made In Heaven - I never liked I Was Born To Love You and the overproduced Queen reworking of it didn't make it any better. Then there's some mediocre songs. Funnily enough I liked the three post-Innuendo songs the best.
3. The Miracle - I still enjoy most of it.
4. The Game - Not a bad album at all but side B has more misses than hits if you ask me.
5. Flash Gordon - I never play this album but I do like most of it. It just doesn't really play like a Queen album.
