I truly believe working together is the best for all in the end. Maybe that's naive. I don't know.

[/QUOTE]

Well, we're two naive people here at least, then !!
I won't call it naive, but optimistic. Unity, generosity and friendship are good values that everybody shares, I'm quite sure with that. Everyone at his own level, but when the results of cooperation show something good happening, then it is just an encouraging sign of what we could do.

I surely ain't the biggest contributor here, nor do I hoard anything, the only things I don't share are the recordings I was asked not to share, and that quite pisses me off to be honest, even if I respect rules as they are given to me. In exchange, my own recordings got shared here quite rapidly. I could not resist !
For the rest, I share all I can, to the benefit of others more than to mine sometimes. But I don't really give a damn, nice people are nice people and something always come back to me at one point.
I donated some old VHS I had to someone once, I don't really remember what is on it (some old French TV programmes from the 80's - beginning 90's I guess), maybe that would prove totally useless, maybe not, but that's not the problem, I donated and if someone can be pleased with that then I'll be very pleased too.
I regularly offer copies of silver bootlegs here, as a lot of others do too. This is not done to improve my own collection, just to offer what I have. Hundred of people download them, and some few come back to offer me something in exchange, and other people on the forum get stimulated and share their own stuff.
That's my own example of how I can contribute a little to the community, maybe that's the more I can do. All I can do, just let me know and I'll do my best to add some help.

But a lot of other people contribute far more interesting stuff here and there, and that pleases me a lot (it somewhat saddens me that it isn't always done here on Queenzone at first anyway). Last year, a lot of stuff got shared on the forum, especially for the first half of the year. I think at all the newbies that could enjoy some stuff they did not know. If I enjoy discovering new stuff (for me) on this public forum, and if I also can get some satisfaction sharing some other stuff publicly, then I can't imagine why a well-geared collector could not feel the same by spreading something that could be somewhat new to the masses.
I know some of them regularly try and help here and there.
- Martin improved his website to insert an index of all the recordings that we can find here on Queenzone, and it seems very useful. He could have said "I won't spend some time on that ! People can work their own way", and I'm sure it isn't of any help to himself, so it was not done for his own sake at all.
- Pittrek regularly share his work here, and it's bloody good stuff with a lot of work and time involved to ensure something perfect in the end.
- Bob fills the forum  with nice upgrades here and there.
- Maruga once shared a lot of QPR recordings here.
- some other share their own improved versions, some reload old stuff for newbies.
And these are only few examples ! A lot of generosity out there. Working all together is not so difficult anyway !

Help this community get better and better and share that collective pleasure !!

To cut short, I'm not proud to be a Queen fan when I go to music stores and I only find greatest hits and that's almost all, but I'm really proud to be on Queenzone and meet people like you all.

Regards,

Olivier,
Belgium.

That is very kind. I can't torrent it but I will certainly have a go at putting it on mediafire or similar. One way or another it will end up on here. I have PMd you. Thanks again.

Is The Cross DVD Miklos made from my original VHS something of a rarity these days? I think lots of people got it through the vine back then?
· Member since
Just went through my huge cabinet filled with bootlegs from a couple of years ago (5-10 years) when I still traded. If anyone can let me know by mail (info@pimderks.com) how to get the Cross Geneva 1990 dvd by Miklos torrented I'd be happy to share it.

Geneva 1990 ........ was sold openly by Dutch fan(s) in '95 or '96 from master tape (as they claimed), should be really common.
· Member since
Yes, it was openly sold. But apparently the DVD taken from one of those first generation copies from the master is not shared at the moment, that's why I posted it.

So, what happened to this project?

I assume collectors are just busy deciding how to contribute generously, yes?

So that's it then?

What happened to the Cross Meltdown Remaster?

Champions 79 Documentary?

Queen Legends VH1 1998?
· Member since
Not sure about Meltdown, but the other two will come.  I need to transfer my VHS of Legends to digital first.
