Two questions:

1. Are they still closing with Knights of Cydonia? If so, I fear the song may be permanently locked into that spot in the set.

2. Did they add pyrotechnics to their set with the move to arena tours? I've always had a soft spot for bands like Muse, U2 and (to a lesser extent) the Foo Fighters, bands which create stunning visual effects without making things go boom every other song.

Indeed, they're still closing with Knights.  It's probably going to be their anthem for years to come, if not forever.

There was no pyro at all.  They know better than that.. :-)

What can I say? I can't agree more with you. Muse are (among with Queen) my all time fave band. I saw them back in 2008 and that was really mind-blowing, the best live music experience I ever had. Looking forward for them returning to Argentina soon!! (Maybe next year, if they don't finish The Resistance Tour before).

As most of you guys know I'm a hardcore Muse fan, and needless to say I had to see them again (this time being my 9th and 10th Muse gigs.. in NY and Philly).
So pretty much everything good that you guys have said about Muse, I will not repeat it again. In my mind there's no doubt that they are the best live band in the world right now.

As for being a hardcore fan you start getting more critical of a band, so I can see a thing or two that would make a Muse show even better than it is now. Most Muse fans would agree that they truly need to rotate set lists around more. Personally I'm bummed out that "Butterflies & Hurricanes" has been dropped out of the setlist, and they should really consider bringing back some other good old tracks like "Sunburn", "Citizen Erased", and "Space Dementia". At the beginning of this tour they were playing "Cave", but now it's been pretty much dropped off.

Personally I don't find much thrill on "Undisclosed Desires", and "Guiding Light". They are not necessarily bad songs, but they just don't seem to fit along with the kick ass catalog they have. Then again, they are promoting "The Resistance" so most song of that album will get played. "MK Ultra" and "Unnatural Selection" sound awesome live though.

It seems like the stage set this time was designed for Matt Bellamy to do more knee slides, which truly made the crowd go fuckin' nuts. Muse truly shares the same mentality as Queen when it comes to live shows. They want you to go there, and make it an experience that you will never forget.

I agree.  Muse can only dream of being as good as your band.

I may need to back down my criticism of Muse not switching setlists around since they announced that they will let fans pick the songs that will be played for the European shows this summer.

So for those of you Europeans going to see Muse, go to www.muse.mu to pick the songs you want to hear.

You seem to dislike any other band other than yourselves & Queen. You also seem to think Treasure Moment has something to offer yet on the myspace page there's no album/EP/demo details, gig details & they remain unsigned to any label. I'd be careful when camparing yourself with any other band out there to be honest.
