Well not ALL :-) I never head the "pleasure" to know him (at least I don't think I have).

Anyway, the bootleg CD has a lot of background noise - it's not hiss, I'm not sure what's the correct English term, but if you listen to it with your headphones you will surely know what I'm talking about. Maybe it's just a bad transfer ?
I think it could be persistent low to mild distortion. It certainly isn't hiss in the normal sense! I'm also trying to think of a possible alternative term as well...
