If there were more than 10 concerts, I would include at least Leeds '82, Budapest '86, Live Aid, and definitely Frankfurt '79 and '82

Only the ones I visited because I have nice memories of those. Apart from those, I almost never watch / listen to concert recordings. Only the ones I have visited / filmed myself seem to be special.

Great pick. Freddie did everything he could to make up for his shortcomings, and so did the rest of the band. They were absolutely smoking hot.

I like it too but I feel Freddie's voice was in such poor state that he couldn''t get away with everything.... Some songs don't work but of course the rest of the band was there to compensate and they did a brilliant job. In a way the video of that show is true testimony of the incredible talents of the band and Freddie in particular. His voice was completely gone and still he had everyone having a good time. The reactions to him throwing several tambourines in the audience during KYA is just awesome, that combined with the power of the rest of the boys. Great stuff!
I prefer the Sapporo 06/05/1979 show though. Freddie does lots of brilliant things like in Dreamers ball, It's late, Love of my life is very beautiful.... His voice is better (though still far from great), and he is so creative...

Paris 01/03/1979 is among my favourites too. Such an epic show with many fantastic rock 'n roll moments. I totally adore the intro to KYA. Jailhouse rock is hot, It's late, IYCBT,... Great stuff!
I've also got a soft spot for Oakland'82. Nobody ever mentions that one but it's a great one (not top-10 but still). NY 28/08/82 is wonderful too...

I'll put mine down later but that Japan 79 gig is a good un, I quite like it as well, sure Freddie's voice is totally screwed but he does try his hardest and the band are good, Roger also really plays a big vocal role in this show, esp on songs like Don't stop me Now where he pretty much sang a big chunk.
Another concert that may not be one of Fredie best vocally has to be Toyko 82, such a superb set list IMO with Saturday night alright for fighting, Spread your wings intro and Jailhouse Rock/blues jam in the same concert!
I also have great love for Edinburgh 82, Boston 76, Copenhagen 78, Rainbow 74, Stockholm 86, 1st Toyko show and also Dublin 84...Sun City is another good un, IF it had SCC and GKR excerpts it'd be IMO one of the best setlists ever...

#11, really? I really do need to start watching some of these shows. I don't have any from your list... and obviously you (and Sir GH) know what you're talking about. Those '79 Japan shows you mention have me curious.
It would be nice to see a compiled list of what Queen fans think the top 10 are. The ANNOUNCE section can be quite overwhelming. Instead of "What do Queen fans think of Jazz?" threads, perhaps reviews of individual concerts could be discussed more. Great thread.
Unfortunately, I don't own 10 queen concerts, I have only officially released stuff, so my contribution to this thread would be minimal.

Never having had the pleasure of seeing a Queen concert "live" to say I will list what I have on dvd and video and what i have seen on youtube
1) Live Aid - 2) Wembley 86 3) Live at the bowl 4) Montreal 81 - 5) Japan 85 despite the poor sound quality 6)Rock in Rio 7) Japan 82
Thats the only full concerts i have seen, but i have seen little snippets of others
8) Budapest but having only seen bits of it not the full version 9) Knebworth - as above
