before i was born my mother had neighbours who used to play its raining men all the time LOUDLY. she has never been able to stand it since... i take great pleasure in playing it loudly in the car when we are going anywhere. >:D

Nobody in my neighborhood plays the same song over and over. Here I get to hear the music of Mexico sung in Spanish. This I hear during warm weather all day and way late into the night. I can deal with this annoyance. What is truly intrusive and very annoying is the sound of trains going, and going and going all d a y and all night . Bought a stereo headset so that I can listen to music and books. Nothing keeps out the horrendous noise. Living in the major corridor for Santa Fe Rail Way between the South and North Pacific Coast. We also get the planes flying low and often to contribute more annoyance. Most around here pause their conversations for the trains and air traffic. At home and on the road 'round here is infected with the noise pollution. And just who can I complain to? I love my home so I ain't moving.
