There is some quiet brush drumming by Roger and some absolutely excellent bass playing by John, some of his best. No Brian though.

Not the sort of song to listen to on a wet Sunday afternoon when your girlfriend has just dumped you !!!

Beatiful song. One of my favourites. Freddie's voice shines in this particular one.
It is also further evidence of the great ability of Queen (and particularly Freddie) when composing various genres. Queen was a
truly eclectic band, and that's what makes them such a big band.

It's a great number. While the most noticeable things are of course the piano and the vocal/melody/lyrics, I think the drum-part's amazing, very simple but very hard to get right.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
