Made in Heaven

This will be the last Queen album in my series of topics (Conclusion of All Queen Albums is next) and It would be very interesting to see what Other fans think of Made in Heaven. In my opinion, the album has some excellent tracks on it and was a very good idea, particulary after the death of Freddie Mercury. The Album does leave me woundering wether Queen would have continued as a band if Freddie had'nt died in 1991 or had not died at all. Anyway I'm now going to do my review of Made in Heaven:

i say to You don't fool me is a 6/10 but mark higher in respect that it was just scraps to begin with and they did some jobs on it to make it as good as the final product

It's a beautiful day - 6,5/10  Although it's a beautiful song, I skip it most of the time.
Made in heaven - 7,5/10  To me this version is better than Freddies solo version, solid song.
Let me live - 7/10  Nice song, special here is that Freddie, Brian and Roger each sing a verse.
Mother Love - 7/10  Emotional song.
My life has been saved - 6/10
I was born to love you - 7/10
Heaven for everyone - 7/10 Good song, don't like the drumsound (especially the kick, too flat/empty almost the whole album actually)
Too much love will kill you - 6,5/10 Like the Brian solo version better.
You don't fool me - 7,5/10 Good song, nice feeling, to me one of the best guitarsolo's by Brian.
A winters tale - 7,5/10 Good song, a solid christmas song, one of my favorites of the album
It's a beautiful day reprised - 5/10 Awful reprise, don't like it.

I think Made in Heaven has a good solid sound, and is quite a good album.

I think made in heavn i a good album, not very good, but good ;-)

It's A Beautiful Day - 7/10 A nice song, andi like the stringwork in the begining and ending
Made In Heaven 6,5/10 Ok song, better that Freddie's solo version, it sounds ok, but the ending is too long lol
Let Me Live 7/10 I like this song, specially that both Freddie, Roger and Brian sings a verse each, but after Brians verse, the song gets kinda boring, and i usually skip the rest of it
Mother Love 8/10 A great song, very emotional
My Life Has Been Saved 7/10 Actually a quite good song, nice fell to it
I Was Born To Love You 5,5/10 Better that the solo version, but this song can't be saved by some rockier guitar and drums
Heaven For Every One 6/10 I often skip this song, i just think it's boring
Too Much Love Will Kill You 8/10 Very good song, maybe Brians version is a bit better, i dunno
You Don't Fool Me 5,5/10 Hot Space reborn lol
A Winthers Tale 9,5/10 Clearly the best song off the album, very good
It's A Beautiful Day repise 6/10 almost the same as the first, but with heavy section in the end, not good
Yeah 10/10 Greatest Queen track ever
Untitled 9/10 not really a Queen song, but i like it very much, i sometimes hear it on my ipod when im gone to sleep lol

I can understand that opinions differ, but when handing out 1/10 as if they were hot dogs is just unbelievable. I mean, 1/10 would mean the song is absolute shit... A Winter's Tale isn't absolute shit, is it? How about 5/10 if you are not too fond of a song?

I think you folks are being too generous. The album should have never been released.  Other than Let Me Live, it is just not up to standard.  But that's just my opinion.

I regard MIH to be a masterpiece, and one of Queen's best albums, however I wanted to say that I really love Let Me Live. I think it's an extraordinary song and a highlight of Queen's late career. Hell, their entire career. :D
