Cheers for the quote. For now it's only words, but promising nevertheless.

No, it'll affect the whole world apart from North America.

I know the news about our amazing new record deal has been leaked. That's first time in 40 years that we've uprooted ourselves... and it was not without a huge amount of thought and care. But we will be making a proper announcement about this toward the end of the year, together wit details of our new enterprises! I can tell you that they will involve studio work, computers, and live work! Well, I suppose that's not much of a give-away! But at least you know that we are on the case!" - Brian

sounds to me like anthology has been announced ... am i the only one?

"Studio work...computers"
Hmm, could be the Anthologies. It would be nice to think someone is in the studio, running old demo masters through Pro Tool and doing some mixing.
Honestly, I've stopped holding my breath. I don't begrudge Queen for pursuing other avenues, like recording, you know, NEW stuff (I like The Cosmos Rocks!) and would certainy love the Anthologies, but they still seem a long way off.
As long as they release stuff, I'm happy.
But I don't need any more Hits collections. I've got, like, ten or eleven already.
Peace out, yo!

I think you should also add "I Can Hear Music" & "Goin' Back" to that covers list

Re: adding "I Can Hear Music" & "Goin' Back."
Yeah, I'm not sure how those got overlooked. It's been a few years, maybe I should redo that CD, adding "Runaway," "I Can Hear Music" and "Goin' Back." I'm not putting "Rain" on there, because the quality is pretty low.
I forgot to mention before, I titled the collection "Heroes" in honour of the defunct Brian May album.

Uuuh...you silly people. Hopefully it means one of many new Queen studio l.p.s to come forth. I hope over the years as they record tons of new songs that they actually re-record many of their hits and best ofs with other recording artists.. And with tons of alternative versions of songs both old and new. Over record. Over record. Over record. ...and I hope they do new solo music as well...

You should add that you want them to live more than 100 years and keep on recording and touring until the very same day they croak.

To be honest, I'm cautiously-optimistic about this. On one hand, I think Roger and Brian make fine music apart, and CAN do even better together. However, after the mediocrity of TCR, I hope they have can channel more of their original creativity. Also, a Queen RockBand would be AMAZING! I admit to being smitten by the genre (after The Beatles's version) and think a Queen one would be even more exciting. But, more than anything, I want the boxset(s).
On a tangent note, I am really excited for Roger's new album too. While TUE isn't anything all that special, new material from Roger is definitely appreciated!
