The other evening I was in a car wash with my offspring and it stopped working right in the middle of an agressive soaping. The attendant came out and did various largely ineffectual things that involved splats of water and then disappeared into a side door in the car wash. After about 5 minutes of nothing, my frequently hilarious son put on a pair of swim goggles I have hanging on my rearview mirror and got out to go talk to the guy about what was going on with the water and the wash, totally deadpan. I ended up in one of those full on comic weeps that totally make one's day.

That's too funny! I suspected it was a Queen person and not a fashion person! I actually didn't end up wearing it because I got so self conscious about him thinking I had had the cover of the book silk screened on the dress like some crazed fan! LOL And I also knew I needed to bend down for the picture and I couldn't easily do that in that dress.
Meeting him was absolutely amazing though! He was so wonderful and sweet! He signed/personalized my book and then signed Back to the Light too! I emailed him yesterday to thank him (my mom always taught me to send thank you notes so that's burned on my brain!) and he responded! I'm so glad I went! ANyone who is going to future signings is going to have a great time! I highly recommend going if you can!
