For me it's fixing/cleaning guitars. You start on one, and then you remember that this other guitar has some problems that need looking at. Before you know it, you're buried in guitar.
i just cleaned off one of my basses, years of white-out, marker and stickers- it looks brand new now, ready to be sold when the time comes :D feels great to look at what you accomplish with that kind of thing

grrr just when exams are over, i decide to fuck up my back :( i had decided to be more positive, etc, stop whining abt everything... but srsly! today was great... santa came in to work, all the kiddies were bouncing around rly happy, then idiot here decided to lift up a little boy cos he wanted to see out the window... as i lifted him, someone behind me spoke to me and i turned around to her... and screwed up my back dammit. managed to get back into my room, where i just stood against the walll cos i couldnt move any further... THEN everything went fuzzy, ears started ringing and i started feeling sick... so i had to go home, but couldnt drive... so had to hang around for ages trying to get my back to let me walk... finally got semi-able to walk (could go straight but not bend or twist) so went to car, inched into it and drove.... and every time i changed gears ended up with tears running down my face it hurt so bad ARGH. Made it home... went to bed.... now its worse... WAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH all i want for christmas is for things to start going well like a normal person! AND today i was meant to finish christmas shopping after work... no way am i going to get it done now... :/

awww im sorry :( i hope your back feels better. i once fucked up my back while sledding. landed on my back after hitting a ramp. the air was fun, the landing not so much lol i was terrified! i thought i was paralyzed. i couldnt move my legs for a minute. turns out i was stunned, but scary nonetheless. i was uncomfortable for a few days and thought 'hmm. well if this keeps up for a while longer i might need xrays!' luckily, as everything else goes with my resilient self, i was ok in a couple days.
at least exam stress is gone now? man i dont miss those days at all.

aww,, thanks hun! :) it still hurts like hell, i cant go into work now before christmas... i had to describe my moms christmas present to her so she coulld get it herself :(( cos no way am i going into a car again. i think its a tiny bit better tho, i can move a little bit more then i could yesterday. But id say its going to hurt for a while :(

yesssss i love santa! Well, more specifically, i love christmas presents... hooray for my grandmother who gave me an electric blanket! (mine died last year) Yippee, no more cold toes! :D
