Hi everyone,

Pittrek shared recently his excellent multi-sourced recording of this famous show, many thanks for his excellent work.
I was looking for the different sources separately, as a completist.
I could not find back the "Pop Spectacular" thing, so here it is.
THIS IS ONLY FOR COMPLETISTS, as the multi-source is the best version ever to date.
Also, thanks to Bob who most probably shared that at first.

QUEEN
1973.09.13 London, Golders Green Hippodrome

Lineage: BBC Transcription Disc > ? > Pop Spectacular (Wardour) silver > CDR (0) > WAV (CDex) > FLAC
(Frontend) level 8

Comments :
This is the best copy of the Golders Green recording, apparently from a BBC Transcription Disc, which would
make it a pre-FM. Father To Son is cut. A superb recording.

Tracklisting :

01. DJ intro
02. Procession
03. Father To Son
04. Son And Daughter
05. Ogre Battle
06. band intro
07. Liar

Distribute these files only if they are left completely unaltered, and always include the lineage
information. As always with my shares (and preferably everybody else's!), be sure that this recording is
not made available at Queenzone or elsewhere in mp3 or any other lossy format.
Keep lossless files lossless, unless it's for your own use. :)

Enjoy!

Ps : I tried myself at Photoshop and modified the artwork so that it suits perfectly this share, which contains only the London 1973 show (the bootleg also contained another show). It is included in the megaupload link, but I'll share it separately just after in the next posts, for those who already have the recording but no artwork. Let me know what you think of it.

Regards,

Olivier,
Belgium.

There are a few 'complete' versions, they should include:

Procession
Father To Son
Son And Daughter
See What A Fool I've Been
Ogre Battle
Liar
Jailhouse Rock (medley)
Stupid Cupid
Be Bop A Lula
Jailhouse Rock (Reprise)
Big Spender
Bama Lama Bama Loo

The master tape ? :-)
I have created a merge of the best "publicly available" sources, it was complete and all sources except 1 were in really excellent quality.
