new Queen album?

so, we've all heard about Queen comeing back sometime next year and touring and doing some studio work.
so if they do make a new album some time next year will you be buying it or not?

for me, HELL YEAH!  i'd be getting something that counts as being modern music but isnt shit like all modern music :P

also because its Queen were talking about here, they are GODS!

tho Freddie's dead and John's retired yes it wont be the same, but since Brian and Roger are still in it they'll make it good ;)  and if they sing OMFG it will be heaven ^_^ <3

Clearky you don't listen to much "modern" music then. Try The Killers or, better still, Black Country Communion.  There's no way on earth that what's left of Queen could ever come up with something as dynamic as that.

Brian and Roger should toddle off in to the distance and concentrate on their own individual careers.

I thought Brian was concentrating on Kerry.

HELL NO! i LOVE old music. its a distraction and escape from reality, its like another world, modern music is just not my taste, and i dont think Brian and Roger should just fade away form public forever, its great to know what the guy who saved your life is up to and all that.

There is a lot of great modern music. You may just have to look beyond the 'Top 40' stuff to find something you can get into! It's out there, kid. I promise.

As for a new Queen album... I think the most we'll see is a new track or two.

I got a similar reaction when I mentioned a forthcoming tour, lifetimefan.  I heard from a trusted source (one who works on most major gigs and events here in Glasgow) that there was talk that Queen had put in orders for lighting and stage equipment for a tour next year.  9 times out of 10, anything I'm told by him that's coming up actually happens.  There's been lots of talk about Brian and Roger doing some sort of tour next year, but it remains to be heard whether or not it is just them or if they will have a singer like last time.  They were supposed to be hitting the studio again too, but it may just be hearsay.  So I'm not sure if you're right about a new album, but it may be a possibility.  It's not an unrealistic wish.

i stay in glasgow and i heard that wee whisper about them coming next year but its not going to happen under the name queen, it will be the same as 1998 and 1999, both 1 show as solo artists then probs in 2012 as small tour together probs small venues like royal concert hall or barrowlands but defo not places like the SHTTY SECC(as its a barn) or Hampden. also hope they do there oan singing as q+pr was PATHETIC the show at SECC was drivel compared to manchester or barcelona :(

I'd buy anything that was Queen if I had the money. lol
