By the way , is the text of the book available on-line? Like in pdf or something?[/QUOTE]

I once searched for it on Google and found a fan blog where he'd hurriedly (*with some typos) posted it up as a long text narrative.

That's where i read it.

I believe it was the real thing. I spent 10 minutes browsing searching for it but I'm afraid i have no link. It's technically no longer in print, but they up there ^^ just said it's on Amazon for kindle.

I'm still not with it. I use books when i can

Update: i found the link by unfortunately typing in key words of narrative. Google: Freddie mercury and me Jim Hutton fanelli mango.

Yes. Mango. Sorry guys.

Though the link appears to be broken now as the narrative starts at page 50 inexplicably. I'd read it years ago.

Also would not suggest going this route for fear of computer viruses etc.

Hmm. Perhaps somebody will PM you a message with a proper pdf or typed doc.

I don't see the harm in it as it's out of print. I doubt u would find it on a library catalogue but you could try that as well.

Best of luck.

Have not logged in for years but had to do it just to leave here a qwick reply:

A few years ago, when I discovered the endless source of info about Queen that exists on the internet and tried to consume as much of it as I could, had the misfortune of reading such disrespectful money-grabbing piece of crap, so-called "book".

After a couple chapters, I was decided to quit, but in the end I went all the usufferable rest to have the whole perspective and an informed opinion.

End page done, I deleted the file and swore myself never ever think about such shameful text, much less care to learn anything else about its named author...

For me it's a great book ... I bought it in 1996 in Polish Krakow :-) ... Jim didn't seem physically attractive to me, but as a person he has my sympathy ...

I see nothing shameful and disrespectful, on the contrary.
After reading I even more fond of Freddie.
But all right, everyone has his own point of view.
