John Deacon solo album?

Man In Shadows is simply a great album. I just can't believe John was so stupid as to use the bass line of Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" without permission. That must have cost him a fortune!

This info just in: One of the tracks on John's new album is called 'Twas A Very Long Ski Trip'.

I just have the Japanese Test Pressing from 07 before it was decided to shelve the album to a future date (if at all)...

...Something about how it'd take away the momentum of the forthcoming QPR album...

However the test pressing cites differing versions of the tracks

Until recently i didn't even KNOW there was artwork! hell i never even heard of the bonus tracks..

i guess that's the benefit of being in the UK eh?

I also heard a RUMOR about a collaboration... something to do with DUST... like the expression "Once bitten twice shy"... a remix of AOBTD..

but that was years ago...

anyone know about it?

Well, look like this is for real. The B side of the first single has been leaked on YouTube. It's a surprisingly bluesy number called 'If I Don't Cash the Cheques (Who Will?)'  Impressive stuff!

Those three are only given away on the SE which will be limited to 4,000 copies. The fourth track is a hidden message and will be heard on every copy. No official word has been heard on this hidden message. Has anybody found the artwork yet?

I have reason to believe it may be "property of Queen Productions". No idea what that means though.

John does not have a prosthetic hand. He shattered two of his Metacarpusea during that fight, these were replaced with titanium prosthetics. He can still use both his hands, though on his injured hand he has no feeling in his thumb due to nerve damage. That was 12 years ago.

I believe he is currently residing on Bali (Benoa) and Roger Taylor has actually visited him last July. It is unclear what they discussed. I bet it's not a reunion!
