Hi, Sorry about the brief title and no message. I am currently in hospital and could only use my phone. For some reason I could enter a title but no text for the message. I have now moved to another hospital with proper internet access. A mate of mine works as a tour guide in London. While doing a pop/rock tour he says that said member of staff at De Lane Lea said that Queen would be working at the studio in a couple of weeks time (so that would be about now). Not being a Queen fan he didn't ask any more questions. I'm on his case to try to get more info.

Ha ha. Well spotted Zebonka. I was quoting what was said so I should have said "Queen" rather than Queen,

I thought nowadays they were in the habit of using their home studios. Wonder why they'd be interested in a commercial studio, in particular De Lane Lea.

My mate has just corrected me. It's not De Lane Lea. The band are at Trident (between Wardour St and Dean St., Soho , London). Still trying to get more info.

Pray tell me what's wrong with the drums on the first album? Personally I prefer them to the crappy tin can sounds of the 80's albums. There's nowt wrong with the lovely bassy drums that Roger used to play and I wish that sound had carried over a bit longer. Philistine!
