My least favorite of the REAL Queen albums is The Miracle. It was at time very overrated, and though it has some of the best classics (IWIA, Scandal, The Miracle, The Invisible Man, Breakthru), other songs don't have this amplitude of their creativity.. And it's more a compilation of songs than an integral album .

...But for God's sake, Queen got no any kinda bad albums/songs!

News Of The World  i think is the least enjoyable Queen album, i still enjoy it but i think that We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are very overplayed (but great songs), Get Down Make Love stayed on their live set for too long (Montreal being my favourite live version), Spread Your Wings is OK but the studio vocals are disappointing, and Sheer Heart Attack is overrated.  It's Late is good (love the Copenhagen 78 version).

All of them are, except for one: Put Out The Fire. That one was truly horrible live. The vocals sucked. Musically it was so-so. One of the worst live songs by Queen, IMHO.

Edit: quoting should be fixed!

Hot Space is genius. The Miracle is by far Queen's worst album. While it has some good songs, tt's just a collection of songs to fill up space. Most of it is total crap.
It's late, but it's time to set me free It's late, yes I know but there's no way it has to be Too late, so let the fire take our bodies this night So late, so let the waters take our guilt in the t

A KIND OF MAGIC - because it is too close to pop and rather far to real rock

Gregsynth wrote: I got a question. How come people call Hot Space "disco" when it clearly isn't? Nothing on Hot Space is disco at all. Most of the stuff that people say is disco is funk and R&B. The closest thing to disco is Body Language, but that's more "dance" than disco. I mean, listen to stuff from Barry White, Sister Sledge (we are Family), Disco Duck, and the Village People (YMCA). That stuff is disco music. Hot Space sounds nothing like any of that.
======

Essentially, "disco" is a blanket-term for popular music which primarily aims to be dance-friendly, thus including such a wide range of music (and 'music') as disco, house, funk (though I object to the use of this term, as it actually referred to early fusion, i.e. rock-oriented jazz), r&b (which, again, has nothing to do with rhythm 'n blues), etc.

Much the same as the term "rock" includes (or used to include) such a range of styles as rock 'n roll, symphonic rock, metal (all varieties), some folk, etc. etc.

Talking about music only (not lyrics) IMO the worst album is The Works, in that album Queen’s experimentation was almost null, they were experimenting more in Hot Space :-)

I laughed, that one is brilliant!

Oh, jpf, how could I ever forget you, the only surviving Garden Lodge-gayfriend of Freddie Mercury. Shouldn't you have died of the aids by now?

The Miracle...

Especially the titletrack! That song makes me not want to play the record.

Make it two! :D (Although as a rule, I generally prefer studio songs to live versions.)

I like The Works, I do agree it has some pretty darn good songs. However, among Queen's albums, I think it's their second least impressive album.

You're obviously confused either way you look at it."

By female bisexual, are you referring to me? Don't you love it how Queen can count homophobes among their fans. It's bad enough that some of their 'fans' are also Kiss fans.

There are many ways to answer it, but I'll simply say what's the Queen's album I like the least and have listented to less often: The Miracle.

Yeah, well, see, Mr. Aids, you could have just said nothing and nobody would have thought the less of you for it. But you had to say something so infantile and so not funny, you ruined all that. I pity you.
