What is the best ever performance of Who Wants To Live Forever?

Since WWTLF is my favourite song ever (but next after Bo Rhap/or along with Bo Rhap) I decided to create this topic.

At the moment I've heard only some shows from Magic Tour (about 10 gigs) and if I'll find time, I'll be listening to others to completely make my breakdown.

This is what I've heard and rated as the best ever performances:

1. Stockholm, Sweden 07.06.1986 (the first gig of Magic Tour, Freddie's voice's in excellent shape)

2. Cologne, Germany 19.07.1986 (incredible performance!)

3. Mannheim, Germany 21.06.1986 (Freddie's voice's in almost excellent shape, excellent performance from whole band)

4. Paris, France 14.06.1986 (beautiful performance, Freddie's voice's in good shape but not in excellent)

5. Stevenage, UK 09.08.1986 (the last ever concert, good performance)

6. Budapest, Hungary 27.07.1986 (good performance)

7. London, UK 11.07.1986 (Freddie's voice isn't in good shape)

8. London, UK 12.07.1986 (Freddie's voice's in bad shape although good performance from whole band)

I think at the moment that's all as I'll be listening to others and write here.

The Studio Version.

The second Leiden gig by far: Freddie hits most of the high notes in the chorus, and does some nice phrasing in the bridge.

The Vienna gigs (especially the 2nd gig), have perfect vocal harmonies in the chorus (those versions are awesome as well).

Considering they dropped the key from G to C, I would say the studio version.

Nah, they didn't drop it that much! It was only 2 semitones down (E minor to D minor)!

The song wouldn't even sound right if it was dropped a perfect fifth! haha

Hey, at least I got what you were saying! I had one comment on Youtube, where someone said that Roger sang the Bo Rhap Bb5 in the opera part live! XD

I'd say Stocholm is maybe the worst, lol :D I mean he hits some high notes in a really funny way, the highest one in some kind of falsetto. 
The best one i'd say Budapest.

The chorus harmonies are fantastic here!

Seconded. I do enjoy several live versions, but the studio version of this song is my favorite.

Best ever version - the highlander version (Freddie singing Brian's parts of the song).

Best live version - I agree with Gregsynth, it's Leiden!

It's either 2nd Leiden or 2nd Vienna for me. Both versions are fantastic and have "something" about them that other versions don't have!
