Or should I say, thanks Greg Brooks.  Did he leak it out, or did someone steal or copy the cd he brought along to a fan convention?

Clearly there are two takes playing at once for much of it.  Were Brian and Freddie playing along to previous takes, or did someone mix two takes together?  Something tells me it's the latter, and perhaps Greg, as he did something similar on tracks for the Freddie boxed set.  Whoever did it, it's a very amateurish job... the timing is often very off.

At 1:08 of the Fred/Brian version, it's just a musical miscue... they're just learning the song as they're writing it, and they were in two different places.

Wow this is great - what a shame they never finished it off. You can tell it was recorded around the time of The Miracle though... the guitar sound is very reminiscent of tracks like Scandal. Thanks Dave, what's next, Assassin? ;-)
