My thoughts are: Stephen King is the MAN. I love all his books and even though movies are never quite as good, I still enjoy most of them, too.

I think the worst horror film I've ever seen was Thankskilling (about a turkey seeking revenge by murdering, raping, and cussing out people on Thanksgiving). I must say though, I knew it was going to be a low budget nightmare before watching it, which made me enjoy the movie more than most people. I kind of have a spot soft for low budget horror films.

Also, as a weird side note, I collect werewolf movies. I don't know if they quite count as horror especially since most of them are also very low budget but I love all of them...so far I have 43 but my collection is always expanding. :-)

I am not into 'gore' flicks, so..........

The best, scariest, had to pause it three different times and take a break from it.....'The Ring'.

I saw 'The Exorcist' eons ago, and have seen it since.  'The Shining' is a classic, and I've watched it since.  Went to a midnight showing of 'Paranormal Activity'..........jumped at times, and also laughed because of the audience shrieking and screaming and all the various reactions, but...................

I will never watch thirty seconds of 'The Ring' again.............ever...................
