The most recent good Christian music I'm aware of is Messiaen's "Quatuor pour la fin du temps" (1941). Not even Dylan could make Christian pop-music sound half-decent.

not always, i may have said this before, but i went with my nan to the vicars house, and his family were amazing! ive never seen a family as loving as they were. there was three children, two girls, one about the same age as me, she had just finished doing some homework, the other girl was older and studying for G.C.S.E's, they were both so cheerful and loved their family dearly, and there was a boy, a bit older than me, he was helping washing dishes, and they were so kind and you could have a proper conversation with them! all of them religious, before i saw this i use to think religion was indeed fucked up because of all tese wars, but this just goes to show, religion is a wonderful thing when you give it a chance, only when you obsess over it and it starts wars dose it become fucked up, but having something to believe in can help with daily life, to make you feel like there is hope and you are wanted, im not religious, i believe in science
so basicaly, let people believe what they want to believe, its their choice, and if it makes them happy go for it!
please lets not fight over this,

There must be some Christian radio streaming on the internet....maybe find some stations and get a sense of what artists you like?

You could try Don Fransicso, Keith Greene or Jars of Clay. I like some Matt Redmond, but some of it might be a bit 'radio-pop type'.

As for Christian music, forget about the rock bands. Listen to Handel's Messiah or Bach's Excelsis Deo.. it doesn't get much better than those.

Actually, I know people who went to study science in university as atheists and they came out as christians or some other form of spirituality. Everything they learned left them with the question - what great force is propelling all this science I learned about?

Just so you know, a moderator isn't someone who goes around editing or deleting posts to fit in with their own limited world view. Having done a little moderating on another forum, I can tell you it takes a fair bit of maturity and restraint.
