The audio (LPCM) audio sounds fine on Peters version, the video also is far superior to this SP effort.
I made my own one disc version from Peters and it is still looks much superior to the this SP one.
No reverb or hiss for me , have you checked your setup or tried a different player?

Yeah Kurgan, have tried on a few players now and same problem - and it only seems to be this show, all others I have downloaded are fine, as are other DVDs. I actually transferred the files to DVD and played on both a DVD player and PS3 at home, and again the same problems. It's only this one I'm having such luck with!

I believe copies circled around the fan club in the 80s, the miracle express vhs ("keep Dancin") is likely 3rd/4th generation.
Edit: Why is the SP DVD NTSC? Surely this conversion degrads the image. Is the DVD a Japanese/US disc? Do PAL discs still not work on American equpment in this age?
