Slightly off topic, but could Keith ask the former BBC Engineer who had taped the numerous episodes of TOTP if he has Bowie doing The Jean Genie from December '72?

I can't even remember what I had for breakfast last week, let alone what someone was wearing in a 3 minute clip on a TV programme 36 years ago!!

Are Queen going to release that fantastic stuff they have or are Queen fans going to have to put up with amateur videos shot off LCD screens? Has anyone heard about any release plans? 'Cause I sure as heck haven't!!!

The Seven Seas of Rhye video shown at SIS was released as bonus on the Days of Our Lives DVD. As oppose to the concert footage.... we can all hope.

Brilliantly, that Jean Genie footage I asked for magically appeared soon after.

Could he ask if he has Bowie doing Starman on ITV's 'Lift Off'

Interesting to see they didn't move, or cover up, Roger's kit during their performance!

Bingo ! Well done.

So now we just have to come up with Abba's TOTP dates.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_performances_on_Top_of_the_Pops

Here it lists them as playing in 74 and 75.

How can we find a more concrete list of dates?

Plenty info and more pics here about the Abba performance. It's almost certainly 45, though the recording date seems unsure.
