I honestly feel that Michael Jackson copied Freddie's style from day one and no one seems to pick up on this. Freddie was the first one to wear the glove on one hand way back in the early 70's. Also in Freddie's 1985 Living On My Own, he sings at the end I'm bad several times and that was pre Michael Jackson 1987 I'm Bad. So Michael Jackson wasn't such an original.

Loads of people have used gloves long before FM or MJ.
MJ was already thinking about titling his post-Thriller album 'Bad' since around 1983. In fact, he did tell Freddie about that.
Again, the word and the melodic phrase are both so common that loads of people may have been able to do the same long before either Freddie or Michael.
Original doesn't mean never-done-before, as 99.99% of things will invariably have proto-ideas elsewhere. Original is more closely related to distinctive and, in that matter, both Freddie and Michael were original, authentic - you heard them singing the first note and you instantly recognised them. Same for their songwriting talents, etc.
