Song for David Minns

In the book co-written by David Minns there's such a fact. In 1976 Freddie told David that one song on 'ADATR' album was written for him. But Minns didn't specify, which song particularly it had been. Some sources claim it's 'You Take My Breath Away', other say it's 'Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy'. Any proof facts?

To be clear it was indeed David "Dyllis"Minns  where Freddie wrote GOFLB for.

David was Freddie's first gay lover 1975-1978. He was still living with Mary in the bedsit in Holland Park when he started an affair with David. Freddie then came out to Mary in Dec 1976 and bought her a flat near where he had just bought one off Ken High Street . Fred then invited David to move in with him. This was after money came in from ANATO. 1976. After Fred returned from the late 1978 Jazz tour he announced to David that he had met someone else. David was devestated and left, not speaking to Freddie again. The new man was Jo Fanelli, who lasted with Fred from 78-79 before retuning home to Massachusetts. Interesting that David never contracted HIV, but Jo did.

David was indeed the subject of GOFLB, as earlier Mary - love of my life, as Later Tony -play the game, and Winnie - It's a Hard Life

I think Killer Queen was about Eric Hall who Freddie had a crush on but Eric was straight

I have always wondered exactly who Love of my Life was about. I really don't believe it was about Mary, since she never left Freddie, he left her when he discovered he was gay. Any ideas?
