He can make all the claims he want, but the reference to the "I still love you" from the live versions of LOML is pretty obvious here. It's the fans that he is addressing and only perhaps also someone else.
I thought I heard audio somewhere with Freddie talking about Killer Queen:

Jim Hutton said that during the video shoot of Days of Our Lives, Freddie looked at him when he said I still love you.

Jim Hutton claimed a lot of things, as did David Minns, I really don't know if some of that is true
David Minns also attempted suicide after he and Freddie parted ways rather acrimoniously. He believes that 'Don't Try Suicide' was a barb aimed at him.
