That is actually surprising !  I once read in a Record Collector magazine that the Wembley Arena shows were recorded with a possible live album in mind.  Maybe the tapes are in there and just haven't been found yet?
yeah, I'm completely baffled by it, actually!

Because of the Record collector magazine article and because of the fact that a band as big as Queen did not record not even 1 performance during an entire tour... (not even a dry soundboard....?)

So there ARE soundboard recordings from the 1985 tour!! That's great news

I'm sure that some day they will find those soundboard recordings and announce it under " recently discovered, recovered or previously unheard material" just like with the material used in The days of our lives documentary....
They just haven't dig it up from the pile of their tapes... I hope:) ! . As it was stated in the QOL interview, there are many tapes with only "QUEEN" label so if they didn't labelled and researched every single tape...than stating that "no we haven't got even one recording from that period" is plain wrong. I'm sure one day they will find recording from their first Works show, remember those words.
