Does anybody know in which year this famous pic of Freddie was taken? Some people say it was taken in 1987, but I'm sure it's from 1986. Can anybody please confirm it? I need to know about it very much.

How do you know that for sure Greg? I have a beard roughly 70% of the year, and it's usually only there for a couple of months before it's shaved again. There's not many '87 pics to my knowledge that would confirm it one way or another.

Because in all the 1987 pictures I've seen, Freddie's clean shaved, plus his face is slightly puffier in 1987 than in 1986.
This is the only photo I've seen of him with a mustache in 1987--but if you look at his facial shape, it's more rounded/puffier compared with the mystery photo that Lostman uploaded.

I don't think it does, tbh. I don't know if you noticed the marks around his face which look like he may have just shaved a heavy beard? I don't remember seeing any '85/'86 pics of Freddie with a beard, so it kinda suggests a later pic than that. Well, to me anyway....

I don't know exactly when the Great Pretender video was shot but it is very likely he shaved his stache for the shoot, enabeling him to relive some of the old videos and getting in drag the 'right way'
Besides it was about time to get rid of the flavorsaver anyway!

The "Snooker Costume" photo was taken in 1986.
Freddie has his mustache at least until february 1987 (see the famous b&w photo in white background where he is wearing his full crown costume) ...
