Famous pic of Freddie

Slightly off topic, but...

I've always wondered if there was a specific date (or month?) when Freddie first appeared all moustached up.

Presumably early to mid 1980?

I know there's a photo from one of the fanclub magazines, showing Freddie actually shaving the moustache off. I would assume that he shaved it for the 'Great Pretender' video, as there are moments both with and without moustache in the video.

When it begain ? I would guess during 'The Game' period...1979/80 - judging by the photos from the album. Plus the videos - CLTCL is without / Play the game is 'With'........
