I only bought deep cuts 3 because it was in the sale, was it all worth it? No. Would love to have seen 'my life has been saved' on it

I got all 3 as they came out as I liked the idea - especially the first volume. Quite an exciting series, but of course the reality was poor which is a pity as they could've been amazing.

i bought these cds just because of the standalones versions of some tracks

MOTBQ had a weird ending. Wasn't a better version shared here at the time? Anyone got a link? But yes - although it made me think they could've used other versions not included on the 40th Anniversary reissues - like stand alone LOTV, TF and FOTW and B-side version of IILWMC etc

Personally, I thought the Deep Cuts volumes was a rather stupid idea and really do not know who they were aimed at. It can't have been a casual / non Queen fan, as they are serviced by the GH and AG releases, or the more serious fans who would've been happy(ish) with the re-releases of the albums with bonus disks, which only leaves me with the collectors, who buy anything and everything QP release. I think the chart position bares that theory too.

I can't imagine anyone with a passing interest in Queen bothering with these.
I would have thought anyone thinking "what else have they done?" would just preview some songs on iTunes or Amazon.
Completely baffling.

Yeah, it's like if a person like a couple of tracks on GH they would just buy the parent album.
Maybe these were just an effort to get some radio play of more unusual tracks on stranger stations like XFM or 6Music for each batch.
