++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ well if you are going to make a fun thread serious...here goes......No "he" won't...cos he doesn't exist...he's a figment of the imagination of organised "churches" who want to keep the working man down at heel, by instilling fear and damnation as the ultimate threat....
it's all a myth to make people feel guilty and part with their money...buying shares in the afterlife

I guess I always had a thing for Pan.. He was such a cool god, he liked music, and he was part goat. And it's just not fair that the christians stole him and turned him into a bad guy.
It's the same thing they did with Antonio Salieri, who was a great composer, and didn't kill Mozart. ====
Hmmm, now there's an interesting question... Morpheus, the Greek bringer of dreams (and opium) seems quite nice. The Egyptian god of writing and magic Thoth is a little scary, but also very interesting, especially considering the gifts of knowledge he was said to bestow on his followers. Also, I can't help but like Loki. Sure, he's a trickster, but he's usually available to fix the mess he's made, too. When you take that into account, you can't hold some little thing like bringing about the Ragnarok against him...
Pan and Dionysus/Bacchus are, for obvious reasons, great fun, too, just be careful around his female followers, the mynades. They're known for occasionally ripping men to bits with their bare hands.
And, of course, there is Ganesha (the Hindu-god with the head of an elephant), who is the god of both wisdom and knowledge AND of happiness. That's a good combination, I'd say.
But in the end, Sir GH is correct: Alanis Morissette as the one and only god.

Thank you .. discussion over.
And Alanis may go down on me in a theatre, but not at a play. Her scripture is quite clear on the matter..

aren't "plays" usually in theatres? ....... mind you, so are music gigs......so i suppose Alanis could (in theory) "go down on you in the theatre"...during one of HER OWN gigs ?
