I don't find any humor in animal cruelty jokes. They don't even qualify as jokes to me. Why other people think it is funny, I cannot understand. Sometimes I think that QZ has too many immature males posting here. It is all about males sparring with each other and making crude, rude, and lewd comments. Where have all the females gone? They have been driven away by gross out humor and constant fighting. It is like a wild west saloon atmosphere here and if I were working in that saloon I would be banning some of the customers for fighting and non gentlemanlike (is that a word?) behavior. I would say, after firing my gun in the air, "Get out and don't come back until you can act civilized." It would be so satisfying.

I've only made a few jokes, trying to re-create the atmosphere of kittens being about to die, which is very well known to Mr Microwave.

I haven't killed any kitten in fact, right? But you're judging me just as though I have killed lots of them.

You should start some nice girly threads. I will dutifully visit them and not do anything noisy or bad. On a fully serious note, rather than the half serious one from a moment ago, I am honestly grateful for the people that consistently bring the gentler and more positive tone here. You, QueenUSA, catqueen, even rhyeking in some ways when he is active, others that may not be occurring to me right now. I recognize that it's a bit of a slog at times, and I know it would be a real challenge to exist without that tempering. So just know that you're appreciated.
