random thread of randomness

Hockey is a pretty retarded business. I never did get the fan hype over what I consider a highly overpaid business where you're just wasting your money to watch violent ballet with sticks on ice. I'd rather spend that money anytime on rock concerts where I can actually be (almost) guaranteed an end result I WON'T be disappointed nor bored with :-)

My first randomness post ever -

I don't miss having to layer myself with sweaters, coats, hats and gloves but, seriously? 60 degrees Fahrenheit in January? In New York?

It was a labour dispute. I can't quite get why so many are behaving as if hockey was their girlfriend and it dumped them. Where was this unforgivable greed? Anybody who is a hockey fan is silly to sit this season out. The 48 game schedule will mean a pace and dynamic worth watching for it's rarity alone. Opening games were played to sold out crowds and I was personally thrilled to watch my Sens thump the Jets 4-1 on the road Saturday afternoon (on High Def! Thanks visibly hungover Bell TV satellite repair guy, wherever you are!) , my first Sens hockey since last spring. If you're a hockey fan, don't get left behind this year without thinking it through and ensuring whatever offence you perceive is real. In the end it was a labour dispute. Nothing less and and nothing more.

Whatever any of you feel like whining about when you get up today, just know that when I get up in 7 hours it will be -27 Celsius and feel like -35. That's -29 F for the anachronistic. So stop whining about whatever you were going to whine about and whine for me. :)

Exams are going on in High Schools here. WIsh me luck, or not if you so choose!
