Since someone posted a topic about songs that didn't work live, I've decided to post this topic about Queen songs that not necessarily sounded "better" live but took on a new life live and worked well with the audience!

1. Love of my Life
2. Crazy Little Thing Called Love
3. We Will Rock You (Slow)/Fast
4. Bohemian Rhapsody
5. Dreamer's Ball
6. Killer Queen
7. Now I'm Here
8. In The Lap of the Gods Revisited (from the magic tour)
9. Is This the World We Created
10. Save Me
It's late, but it's time to set me free It's late, yes I know but there's no way it has to be Too late, so let the fire take our bodies this night So late, so let the waters take our guilt in the t

How about songs that are better live? Rock It and Modern Times = awesome

How about adding Radio GaGa to this grouping (as far as "working well with the audience")?

CLTCL on the Japenese Hot Space Tour were the best versions IMO. Fred Mandel on the Piano really transformed it. :D

The Hot Space stuff sounds on par/better live than the record! Hammer To Fall works better live (since it sounds "heavier" live), Ogre Battle is awesome live, and Liar sounds great as well!
I always knew I was a star And now, the rest of the world seems to agree with me-Freddie Mercury

Radio Ga Ga, A Kind of Magic, I Want to Break Free,All sounded better 'rocked up' live. I also prefer Crazy Little Thing and Now I'm Here Live too

"CLTCL on the Japenese Hot Space Tour"

Is that the Tokyo performance from Rare Live? Have to agree, that is pretty special (or was it Osaka?)

Hammer to Fall at Wembley was perhaps the best individual live track I've ever seen, but saying that I am not a collector of live material and only really know officially released stuff

1. Dragon Attack - Live At The Bowl
2. Hammer To Fall - Wembley -Brian amazing guitar play.
3. WWRY Fast -LATB
4. Now Im Here - My favourite version
5. Tie Your Mother Down - Wembley- John's Heavy Bass
6. Rock It - with Freddie on vocals - why didn't we get the studio release on the Game Extras
7. Fat Bottomed Girls - Live At The Bowl - Brian's Guitar  Outro very nice
8.Calling All Girls - Loved Tokyo 82
9. Another One Bites The Dust - Buenos Aires 81- Favourite rendition
10. The Hero - LATB- What an entrance an explosion of noise, Best Version imo

Live At Milton Keynes is the best concert officially released but not could use the same magic trix used on the Montreal release loved Roger's drums and John's prominent bass.

Flick of the Wrist (fantastic riff played on guitars makes live performances much better than the studio version)
White Queen (great piano/guitar solo instead of boring acoustic one!)
Liar (the longer the better)
'39
Spread Your Wings
Brighton Rock solo

Gotta agree with this...also AOBTD was much better live too...favorite version being from Wembley (first night), and the one from LATB...both stellar versions of this song, where you can feel the bass and drums just rockin it in your chest!

1. Action This Day: Awesome, rocker, and more intense.
2. Modern Times Rock'n Roll: great Roger chorus.
3. 39: Doesn't need an explanation
4. Radio Ga-Ga: Guitars added and people clapping
5. Teo Torriate: The Hot Space versions sounded harder and, again, guitars added increase the power.
6. Need Your Loving Tonight and Rock It.
7. Staying Power: Same as nº 1.
8. Ogre Battle: In the jurassic period, great chorus, and extense "battle" section.
9. In The Lap Of The Gods...revisited: Wonderfull
10. We Will Rock You/ Spread Your Wings.
