Agreed...though I do like the guitar solo in it, apart from that, it was horrid!

Zebonka and Bambam, please note that the WATC version that was released was not the one intended by the band and RW.

At the time, I remember reading that Sony (or another company, not sure) insisted that the version that they had recorded was too different from the original and that (Sony?) would only use something closer to the original.

I even wrote to Brian at the time, and he answered me! I asked him when would we have access to the original WATC version that they had recorded. His answer was not straight to the point of my question and he refered to the partnership with RW in a general way, mentioning (amicable) reasons for them to have not kept recording any longer. Unfortunately, I don't feel entitled to paraphrase him or something, I'm sorry.

That said, I think their WATC released version is quite ok.

Cheers,

Note to self: stop dreaming about a different WATC version :)

Yea i agree, some of the comments in this thread are very retard, mainly the first ones...

About  the music business  i quite get him.. there's nothing more to do since Freedie passed away, you can tell in some parts of the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert that  he's just not into that concert feeling...

Regarding is relation to Queen, well... just take a look on the Documentary: Days of Our Lives of 2011(The WorldWide Version, NOT THE US ONE)  at the end he is still there sitting with his bass, talking with Roger and Brian... answering to your question i bet he still plays,,,,

I just hope whatever John is doing, that he is happy. We love you John!

The answer to your question is in the tracklisting of Deep Cuts 3, placing Kashoggi's Ship right after the only Deacon composition on there. Who said that his party was all over? Muwhaha.

Anyway, gotta run.
