Interesting. Very interesting. And what's the point of keeping this a secret, may I ask? 2

This kind of "no more hoarding" topic is quite recurrent. I don't know since when you're collecting but sooner or later, things are shared. Several years ago, many things like the complete video of Houston, Drammen 82, both Milwaukee 75 and 76 were hoarded and they ended being shared. You also have to remember that not so long ago, it was really painful to get Queen recordings in lossless form. Much of what was circulating was in badly encoded mp3 format and many shows in lossless form were simply very hard to find too. It was the time when I was scouring millions of websites to look for uncirculating lossless recordings and it is not so long ago (2003, 2004?)
I think we got a structured community under the leadership of some people here these last years which didn't exist before. I'm collecting Nirvana stuff too and several years ago, Nirvana collectors were much more organized than Queen collectors but now I think that Queen community organization has much improved. We had a lot of great stuff these last years with major surfacing. We just have to search and wait for new material. Sooner or later, things surfaced.

there is a super easy way to get a rare recording from a hoarder an share it here.
try to find, organise, trade, record or buy an equally rare recording.
trade it with the hoarder for his rare recording.
brake the "please don´t copy" promise, if there is any.
share both recordings on qz.
become a hero for a day.

Regardless of the reason, it always saddens me when a piece of history is swallowed up by the ether.

And how am I supposed to find these hoarders?

Are you saying YOU aren't one of them?
If so, I know which Brian May audience video to share next.

Hypocrite.

I think he can´t share nothing from QP archives... it would be illegal (and very stupid of his part)

I'm not talking about the Queen archives.

Gary doesn't have personal recordings of Queen. I know this because we discussed bootlegs at the Queen convention.
