"Roger remixed live at Wembley in 1992 ish, shortly after it's initial album release, and I think Roger's remix only appeared on limited vinyl editions at the time."

I recall at least two eBay auctions for the Wembley cd that had the big Remixed by RT sticker on it. So I dont think this remix was limited to just the vinyl version.

I don't have the last five remasters yet, but I do have the GH3 SHM cd. I really tried to hear a glitch but it sounds fine to me. Do my ears have a "glitch", or is the SHM version ok? I uploaded a fragment of the song:

Edit: The appended file dosen't work, please use the mediafire link.

It could be just me, but the 2011 version does sound a lot clearer to me.

I can confirm - not on the original cd, not on the singles box, definately on the remasters of MIH and GH3.

I hate to say that yes, it's there. But if you can't hear it that's great, as it's not spoiling the song at all for you :)

I'm pleased to see that my hearing is still in one piece after 25 years of drumming!

I'm just emailing Universal to ask for a refund, or some kind of voucher to exchange the current one, assuming they do another run sometime to correc this.

it may seem trivial, but it was not on the EMI versions, and I heard it first time without listening out for it and had to skip back to check I wasn't imagining it, and so to my mind that makes it a mistake that ruined my enjoyment of the track.

I'll update when/if I get a response!  I wonder how long it will take this to get back to Brian/QPL??!!!

Anyone else agree that it's FUCKING RIDICULOUS that the so-called ''professionals'' at QPL can't get ANYTHING right?!  I mean, why didn't someone pick this mistake up?

Nothing gets proof-read - we know that from all the sleeve note and DVD menu errors.  And - my personal favourite - Queen II labelled as being from 1975 at the SIS exhibition.

Now we find that the morons don't even listen to the albums properly before reissuing them!!  WTF?!

The only way to fix QPL is to sack every single brain-dead fuck-wit who works there (so that means everyone except the QOL Administrator) and start from scratch.

Next time, folks, do a basic IQ test on people who you employ before letting them anywhere near anything.

I have carefully checked my copy a number of times and the bass drum does seem to drop out at 34 secs...so is it a glitch? did he not play it, did they take it out because it clashed with the vocal?.... The kick certainly does seem to be there on my original copy of MIH...so it would appear some form of mastering glitch indeed.
