http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aeg1RYStvw He is also good with the piano... so the singer's role is set up. Now they've to find the right musicians for the others instruments. None of the few videos posted by guitarists/keyboardists/drummers has impressed me so far... we'll see in the next days. Only one advice: guys don't try to compete with Marc... he is so perfect for the part! Try to concentrate yourself on the other roles ;)

He can play a maximum of three chords on guitar so he's also perfect for "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" XD

Nothing to do with this....but is it me or the Innuendo drum roll intro sounds weak and dreadful in the new remaster? I think the japanese version from 2001 is way better.

Isn't music the one true religion?
Anyways.. Mark has a great voice however his articulation is nowhere near Freddies. Stick a wig on his head and put him in a balet outfit.. then we'll talk.

Brian was endorsing this on his Soapbox. I think he needs to lay off the pipe.

i find it sad that Queen (Roger, Brian) and the fans are so desperate to recreate freddie. It's been a slow and painful ride watching my beloved hero's going downhill over the last 20 years....finally have hit rock bottom with this tribute act....I think brian and roger, as well as the fans have gone slightly mad.....Maybe i sound a bit over dramatic here, but still..................

These manufactured miracle shows have little to do with music as many agree. It has everything to do with entertainment, something Queen has always been a firm believer in.
Todays youth is captivated by the ongoing reality shows of voting for the best in any class, just to feel part of the whole outcome.
Bri and Rog would be very naive trying to stay out of these developments in showbusiness. Eventhough they might not like those shows at all. I know I don't!
IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM...

You don't see Zeppelin and The Who or floyd doing stuff like this......but i don't pay much attention to this nonsense...havn't even listened to these audtions...i hate american idol and these type of things...i just wanted to express my dislike for what Roger and Brian have become.....nothing could take away what queen were from 1971 to 1991....Innuendo was the perfect ending....these are The Days Of our lives!.....Made In Heaven was a nice tribute album...After that?....

That is the main reason most teenagers do not know the Who, Zeppelin or Pink Floyd. Yet they do seem to know, or have heard of Queen..

^ bingo.
Brian and Roger know exactly what they're doing. They want to be in public consciousness a century from now, and they're doing everything they can to ensure that while they're still here.

i disagree with this comment.
if you ask any youngster to name these bands most famous albums, they'll probably manage it easier than naming ANATO
and these bands ARE still very much in the conciousness of the younger generation....my son likes rap/hiphop and similar stuff...but also still loves "old school" rock and so do his friends...you don't have to be a greabo to like rock....
the who, zep and floyd do a better marketing job than queen. when they release something...it's done properly...watch what happens with the floyd re-issues......Brian and Roger will be "wishing they'd done this" with Opera Races etc

Oh lay off Roger and Brian, I don't think Freddie really would care, if Freddie were here I don't know if this would be taking place either but it's all in fun, it's not meant to replace or reincarnate the band. It does stir people up and gets them passionate for the group they love and that's a good thing.
