Wouldn't be a bad idea to lose the timing strip if possible (I find them incredibly annoying). I'd imagine if you're able to lose a logo that you should be able to lose the timing strip in the same manner). I'd rather see a black bar than numbers continually moving. It certainly would have made the latest Hyde Park even better.

I actually tried doing this already and it doesn't look too bad, roughly a 14:9 ratio.
I'll post a sample to show you what it looks like.

I was actually talking about the placing a black box over the timecode as opposed to cropping any of the screen (just as you place something over the logo w/o cropping).

[/QUOTE] I know what you meant, but the time code is so near the top anyway. Placing a black box over it would only save a small part of the upper right screen.
I don't really see that as a better option than cropping the top, just my opinion.

[/QUOTE] The Logo free copy has too many cuts and could only be used as a merge of some sort. The copy with the logo, although complete, needs a bit of work before I would be happy to share it.

Thats fair enough. I must say your QTV version looks better than the common one, in my opinion. i It's seems to be better contrast/brighter. So you can actually see more in the low light shots. Cheers for the quick reply mate.
