Wouldn't be a bad idea to lose the timing strip if possible (I find them incredibly annoying). I'd imagine if you're able to lose a logo that you should be able to lose the timing strip in the same manner). I'd rather see a black bar than numbers continually moving. It certainly would have made the latest Hyde Park even better.

As the timing strip is very close to the top it would probably be better to make a minimal crop. I actually tried doing this already and it doesn't look too bad, roughly a 14:9 ratio.
I'll post a sample to show you what it looks like.

I know what you meant, but the time code is so near the top anyway.
Placing a black box over it would only save a small part of the upper right screen.
I don't really see that as a better option than cropping the top, just my opinion.

The Logo free copy has too many cuts and could only be used as a merge of some sort.
The copy with the logo, although complete, needs a bit of work before I would be happy to share it.
