:( Roger Taylor's is a homophobe after all
MARTIN wrote: In fact I think Roger overstates his aversion to Hot Space - with the benefit of 30 years of hindsight. I don't necessarily agree with this statement. Take a look at this youtube video. It's from an Ente...

Queen - Love For An Hour Is Love Forever (Boxset)
Thank you. I attended the Boston show (1st row of balcony near stage) and also attended the first NYC show (7/27/82). A few weeks later I saw them in New Haven, CT (8/10/82)as well. All great shows!

Paris '79 DVD without logo (Kurgan's edit)
Thanks for posting the cropped version. I was actually talking about the placing a black box over the timecode as opposed to cropping any of the screen (just as you place something over the logo w/o cropping).

Paris '79 DVD without logo (Kurgan's edit)
Wouldn't be a bad idea to lose the timing strip if possible (I find them incredibly annoying). I'd imagine if you're able to lose a logo that you should be able to lose the timing strip in the same manner). I'd rather...

First reactions to the These Are The Days of Our Lives Video?
I saw "The Days of Our Lives" doc hosted by Axl Rose in August 1991. I had been a fan of Queen since late 1974 and had seen them in concert six times over the years. I was still a pretty avid fan by 1991 and was conce...

Which name would you like BM and RT to call themselves?
Inu Liger wrote: Taylor Mayed is a terrible suggestion. Seriously, name me ONE band that has done extremely commercially well with a name based on a very lame ass pun! The Beatles!!! They did pretty well for themselves!

Lost U.S. Gigs/1974-This month in Queen History
For whatever reason, I guess the bold doesn't work. By the way, it's the Allen Theatre in Cleveland, not the Allan Theatre.

Bob, There are several corrections/additions to the list you posted from qliverecordings. See below (bolded): Here's the whole list - 13.05.1974, USA, Boston, Orpheum Theatre - cancelled (rescheduled from 4-26) (5/13,...

Tour Itinerary Update - Orpheum Theater, Boston 1974
Forgot to attach this to the last post. Even more proof that the band did not play Boston in 1974. This 2/25/75 MIT Tech article states that their Boston 2/15/75 Orpheum show was their FIRST APPEARANCE IN BOSTON.

Tour Itinerary Update - Orpheum Theater, Boston 1974
Here's an article from the 5/17/74 MIT Tech newspaper. This states Queen did not perform at the RESCHEDULED Mott/Queen show on Monday (which would have been May 13th). This is just more supporting evidence that Queen...

Here's the 3/3/76 Milwaukee Journal review of the show. I resized it for readability:

Concert Date Correction: Milwaukee 3/2/76 (NOT 3/1/76)
For years the Milwaukee 1976 recording has been listed as being performed on (Monday) 3/1/76. After digging through some newspaper archives I noticed that the gig was actually performed on Tuesday 3/2/76. I've attache...

Tour Itinerary Update - Orpheum Theater, Boston 1974
All the tour itinerary lists I've seen have Queen playing the Orpheum Theater in Boston on 4/26/74. After digging through some archives, I found out the following information: - TWO shows were scheduled to be performe...

ANNOUNCE QUEEN 1971 DEMOS
THe Night Comes Down is, in fact, a demo. The version on the first Queen album is the demo version because the band did not like the "re-recorded" version they did with Roy Thomas Baker and demanded that the demo be p...
