Thanks for this! I'll listen to it at work! Very much appreciated. Have you got any other similar radio documentaries?

Listened to this today, it was really good. One of the best documentary's about Freddie. The three things this documentary got right 1) The interviewees were the best you could ask for, as well as being varied (from Peter Hince to Peter Freestone. And this is the first time I've heard Mary since The Untold Story!!) 2) It wasn't stingy, it bought the rights to Queen songs so you didn't have shitty little songs which sound a little bit like Killer Queen in the background. 3) It told me information I didn't know before, which is rare for a Mercury documentary (Stuff like Mary finding out about Freddie's AIDs and Freddie then lying to her for 18 months, convincing her it was a mistake before revealing! As well as Freddies logic for giving her Garden Lodge)

Can't recommend this enough, thought it was brilliant. Surprised there's not more hype to be honest.

A bit poor to be honest i.e. The Mr. Bay Guy section "Living On My Own" the remix version was used, not the original but the Paul Gambaccini inputs were worthwhile

I, too, thought it was good and nicely done.

But there were a few mistakes of fact. Most notably suggesting ANATO was the third album.

Under the heading of "no bed of roses, no pleasure cruise" ........  the part about Freddie in the
dumpster and the pain and soul searching it caused was not old news to me because I had not
heard it yet.  Is this incident widely known in other books & docs?  After this happened did anything
change to prevent a further bad episode as this?
I'll be right behind you, right until the ends of the Earth

Some of the interviews were pulled back from Days of Our Lives (2011) BBC documentary... (for example the bit about recording process of BoRhap).

But.... BoRhap being about Freddie's coming out with his bisexuality ? Really ?
More statements like this and they will ruin the awesome song...
