Is there any way someone could reupload the mp3 file? The mediafire file isn't working. Thanks and great quality recording! Surprised SirGH only gave it a B on his site as I easily think it deserves an A-.

It's EQ'd nicely, but it's a bit distorted.  I never want to over-rate, but on second thought B+ is fair.

Hi All,

Sorry to disturb your (and my dreams)..........but Rick the reporter has just that snippet, only that fragment, he got it from Radio Luxembourg, in 1974 Queen did a small European Tour, they did Holland for the first time and of course Luxembourg. The concert Queen gave in Luxembourg was broadcast, this I know for sure, as a teaser Radio Luxembourg had Killer Queen almost 24/7 throwing thru the ether..........something hot an amazing is gonna happen on your Radio........bloody well right they were.................

Thanks for posting, Tom.  But there seems to be a date discrepancy.  As far as we know, Queen only played in Luxembourg in 1973, and it has been famously told that the show was intended to be broadcast, but somehow the gear failed and nothing was recorded !  Of course that could be wrong in some way, but there is no documentation of a Queen show in Luxembourg in 1974.  A very interesting revelation here if your memory is correct !  Do you have a ticket stub or some kind of proof that there was a 1974 show?

Furthermore, is there any way to get in touch with the folks at Radio Luxembourg to see if they can let a copy of either recording out?

VERY interesting.  Always thought this was the common Rainbow stuff...

So who has a copy ?

It's still strange as the tracklisting of the LP doesn't match with the sample which starts with Killer Queen right after the Freddie welcome speech, right?

They would never of performed Doing All Right in the middle of the rock and roll medley.
This obviously is not an original LP as blue vinyl and other colours were not around in 1974.
And Bob is right, no date in Luxembourg was played in 1974, only in 1973.

===

There's a clear cut after the speech and before KQ starts. In The Lap of the Gods, obviously, was the first song of the medley and is, obviously, missing.

I was also under the impression that the bootleg Rhapsody in Blue is a bootleg of the Rainbow concert(s). But maybe I under the wrong impression here. I made a huge mistake, and this as a Queen fan since 1974. Queen did in fact not play Luxembourg in 1974. They played at the Le Blow Up on 14th October. But I did hear a Queen concert on Radio Luxembourg, and I am pretty sure that is wasn't a concert form their Queen II tour. But now so many years later I can't get my head around if I heard the concert in 1974 or even 1975. Regarding the Rhapsody in Blue bootleg, the tracklist isn't a typical tracklist for the 1974 erea, or is it..........

The following set-list does not represent the complete concert
[listo] [li]Procession [li]Now I'm Here [li]Ogre Battle [li]Father To Son [li]White Queen (as it began) [li]Flick Of The Wrist [li]In The Lap Of The Gods [li]Killer Queen [li]The March Of The Black Queen [li]Bring Back That Leroy Brown [li]Son And Daughter [li]Keep Yourself Alive [li]Seven Seas Of Rhye [li]Stone Cold Crazy [/listo]

Around the Queen II Tour this is how the set-list could look like.........

No. Just found out about the webpage after a quick google search. Big change the bootleg LP has a fake date if you ask me.
