Roger and Brian should do an acoustic EP together of their own entirely new material.

i'm trying hard to care....no...that didn't work
honestly couldn't give a stuff if they produce another "queen" album of new material (or not)....i've heard nothing new in the last 15 yrs that's impressed me...so doubt that anything will
now, if Roger releases his new solo album (as quoted on Planet Rock 30 Dec 2011...then i will definitely be interested in that

An accoustic album would get my vote, with some of the stuff that's never been played live before getting used (maybe the kind of material that the Queen Extravaganza might use as Rog said).
Demos deserve to remain as demos.
The idea mentioned that the FM box set songs that were "near" finished could have been re-edited MIH style doesn't do anything for me... Freddie didn't even think these songs were good enough for his Mr. Bad Guy album... and we know how well that performed commercialy?
My preference is for accapella, instrumental etc. I think Queen are the only band that would get away with this, as their songs were so full and filled with so many little things that you would only hear by splitting them apart this way. BBTLB accapella sounded amazing to me and I'd pay to hear other songs the same way.
New material... they are too old, and Cosmos Rocks was good, but not for today's audience imo

How about The Works or AKOM? :P :D

If there is a new album, hopefully it will include Mad the Swine. Yes, it's already been released, but never in a 'proper' version of an album, and I think it should be afforded its due respect.

the biggest problem is that bri and rog don't seem to work together unless it's billed as "Queen"
imagine all the freedom a "May & Taylor" billing would give them

Rock It - RT Track off the Game was mentioned as having a vocal by Freddie, but understand the band preferred RT's version. I know who's version I would rather hear.
That Long Away track would have been worth a listen if Freddie had laid down a vocal for that too.

Yeah, I remember my dissapointment when Roger's voice kicks in after Freddie's stunning intro. Although, I still love it, and we've always got some bootleg tracks of Freddie singing the full thing live.

And imagine all the tickets that wouldn't be sold.
It'll never happen. Wish I could say it would, but it won't.

When playing under the "Queen" name, many people would expect them to play the hits they always play.
Playing under the "May&Taylor" name would give them a chance to do something different. To be creative! Solo stuff, unknown songs, covers, new material, whatever they want to play, they could do it.
Maybe they wouldn't sell as many tickets, but they would sure have a lot of fun. Smaller venues are so much more intimate than large music halls or stadiums.
Basically it all comes down to the choice: do the same thing over and over for the money, or do something new for the sake of fun and creativity.

Thinking about and hearing the rough demos that have leaked is it really possible they don't have enough Freddie vocal material to create Made In Heaven 2? "Self Made Man", "Robbery", etc... very little Freddie. The only leaked demo that seems close to complete is "I Guess We're Falling Out". How could it be that in 20 years of recording they wouldn't have plenty of unreleased tracks?
As far as the "May & Taylor" project idea now THAT would be cool and nobody could complain about using the name "Queen". I'm not that keen on Roger's voice but Brian has turned out to be a very good lead vocalist as evidenced by "No One But You"
