I don't know if I could handle Freddie dressed as Paul Stanley.

1) Curtain opens over Kirk Hammet on knee pads leaning over a couch on which someone is sitting.
2) Enter Sandman
3) Queen enter to smoke bombs during "SAD BUT TRUE" riffage... and Freddie says, WHAT THE BLOODY HELL, THEY'RE STEALING MY BIT!
4) Numerous fights onstage; ending in ensuing riot.
....honestly though... i don't know how they would tour the black album...
is that some kinda joke err summthing?
:P
(*nice sarcasm...surprised it made General Discussion)

Heres a better question, what if Queen toured St.Anger?

I think they would do "Walk on the Wild Side" as an encore.

Then people would be saying, "I guess The Cosmos Rocks wasn't so bad after all."

I was actually playing it again last night. (i'm still in disbelief that it was such a dud)
I've come to the conclusion that
1) TCR was horribly rushed
2) Brian, Rog and Paul had no business PRODUCING the album (some miscues etc...in MY mind i think some of the songs dynamics and tempos could have been adjusted to suit a rhythm well)
3) I still maintain that there was a great spirit towards the project, even if there are ridiculous lyrics like "the mysteries and dragons of time will explode"
without focusing on that, there's a lot of worldly reflection and beautiful thoughts towards the album.
Looking at it that way... the only filler is Voodoo.
4)Brian and Rog held back on most QUEEN-isms and there was no bassist... the mix is just pretty dry and soundboardy.
But yes... St Anger... pretty bad.

Voodoo is awesome, one of my favorites on TCR.

I don't know WHY they would tour the Black Album. I would think they would have better things to do. I assume this isn't in a parallel universe where Freddie isn't, like, almost dead
