Sound is nice. Would be interesting to synch this to the videos from the show.

They're a bit odd. They sound great and they're taped right near the stage. The old sources had much worse quality and were taped further. But I doubt about one thing. Maybe Wardour have spliced the old sources (improving their quality, of course) with audio ripped off the official videos (destroying its quality to make it sound more like an audience recording)? I can't confirm it properly. We need Bob over here.

For me it sounds like two new sources and they sound better than the old sources. The second night is simply amazing compared with the old audience source.

Yeah, I also think they're new sources. It's always great to get something new.

So thanks a lot for sharing.

I haven't heard anything from the first night but downloaded some of the second night.
It's clearly audience recording but taped very close to the stage with minimal audience noise (even less as the show progresses, I have the impresion). There are some minor issues (bass distortion) but nothing that hinders a glorious listening experience. Wonderful to be able to hear Freddie without the overdubs, you can hear him being a musician then, trying to cope with the limitations of the day. I love it...

It sounds audience like, not?:-)

I just compared Radio Ga Ga of the first night with the old audience source and it's the same old source.., but for this new release it probably seems that it comes from a much lower generation as it sounds MUCH clearer. So, only the second night is a totally new audience source.

Great release!

*Dreams away*: if someone only made such recordings of the Leiden concerts...

I want to chime in on the conversation, but the download is very slow. Each track is taking about ten minutes, so it will take a while to complete it.

Any chance someone could share/torrent the files here?
