I would kindly appreciate some feedback if possible from people here as to the remaster job. Our studio dude Joshua doesn't browse on these forums, so he asked me to relay any feedback to him directly :-)And for reference, here's an A:B sample using Boh Rhap, going back and forth every 10 seconds between the raw audio and the remaster mix: http://media.ppnstudio.com/inu-productions/Queen_HP1976_Remaster_BohRap_AB-Sample.flac
Are you sure you posted the right sample ? Because I can't hear too absolutely no difference. However the spectral analysis looks like a nuclear explosion :-)

Here is my attempt to a quick remaster : http://www.mediafire.com/?0smpcpjfio7psbx - I only removed most of the bass distortion + done a couple of small tweaks
Despite (at time of writing) recent unfortunate developments in certain inner trading circles committed by people afflicted with something called 'Priority Thinking for People with Common Sensibilities', we are not in any way deterred from sharing the 2nd installment in the Gary Taylor/Jim Jenkins series of previously unreleased and unheard Queen concert tapes. Following the success of our first group effort, Earl's Court 1977 First Night, we are pleased to put out a new alternate audience source for Queen's legendary concert at Hyde Park '76.
Altough I'm not downloading, I feel the need to say a few things.

First of all: THANKS A LOT!

Thanks to all the people who worked on this.
Special thanks goes out to Jim Jenkins: I don't know if you're reading this. If you do: I think it's great that you invested all the time and money to follow your (musical) dreams and visit so many Queen concerts all over the globe. Must have been a great journey! It's fantastic you (video)taped the concerts you've visited. Must have been a thrill to listen/watch after you've visited the show. Permanent souvenirs! Thanks for sharing some of them with us...!

Gary: Thanks for making this happen!

Thefallenqueen, I think you've missed the point entirely.
This release was about bringing out an ALTERNATIVE source from a historic show, irregardless if the sound quality is inferior OR superior! Most collectors surely appreciate that we made an effort with this, even though the remaster quality wasn't AS drastic an improvement as it was with our previous Earl's Court '77.
We did what we could with a shitty sounding recording, and tried making it sound as listenable as possible through taking out the various persistent anomalies that actually induced headaches just listening to! We didn't want to take extreme measures that would have destroyed the integrity of the performance and colour the sound image drastically,
Next time please exercise some deep consideration.
And this whole thing contrary to your implications, by the way, was in NO way intended to be an April Fool's joke. Learn to read the timestamp on the topic's starting post.
I havent heard the original but i cant imagine how it could have sounded much worse. I think this sounds like a case of psychological remastering. It's called psychological remastering because you take a recording and tweek the EQ and you will think it sounds better BUT it's really just your brain fooling you. I bet that is all this is :-)
