I would kindly appreciate some feedback if possible from people here as to the remaster job. Our studio dude Joshua doesn't browse on these forums, so he asked me to relay any feedback to him directly :-)And for reference, here's an A:B sample using Boh Rhap, going back and forth every 10 seconds between the raw audio and the remaster mix: http://media.ppnstudio.com/inu-productions/Queen_HP1976_Remaster_BohRap_AB-Sample.flac
Are you sure you posted the right sample ? Because I can't hear too absolutely no difference. However the spectral analysis looks like a nuclear explosion :-)
Here is my attempt to a quick remaster : http://www.mediafire.com/?0smpcpjfio7psbx - I only removed most of the bass distortion + done a couple of small tweaks
@thefallenqueen: No, he is not. Nor is anyone for that matter at this time. If there are any alternative remaster projects approved (which I doubt), you'll be sure to know.

sure? that's a shame as his sample does sound like a re-master

Shame indeed. :(
If a remastering project is allowed, I'd like to put myself forward as I'm finalising my room for mixing. So far, the room is sounding pretty good for mixing and I have access to some decent software.

Well, considering that this source is already out and free to everybody, I don't see why anybody needs to get a remaster project "approved?" Now I'm confused!
inu-liger · Member since
Well I've asked, and the answer to the question of putting out the raw tape is a definite "No". If you don't like this version, you guys can stick to the other source versions out there.

The remasterization isn´t magic... it wont hear like an official release... frankly i belive the tape sound good with this remasterization and it wont sounds better....
Why the people here is so inconformist ???
If you wanna hear an Excelent version of Hyde Park, buy the official dvd in 2089 when it will be released....

265 people were able to unarchive the file - YOU were not. Find the mistake!!!

Staying locked up, huh? Shame.
Pittrek, if you can get access, go for it :)

Where does this sense of entitlement come from?
You were offered something for free and it didn't work out. Life goes on.
But as someone else pointed out, hundreds of other people managed to extract the file just fine.
Don't be a douche bag next time. Ask a question and you might get a sensible answer.
