I mean I feel sorry for her husband having to live in Garden Lodge with Freddie's memory basically being all around you 24/7. Also knowing your wife still completely loves Freddie and misses him everyday. That your kid's godfather is Freddie. It cant be very easy for both of them. Of course they are rich and do own an amazing Kensington mansion. But still...

Come back here in 20 years and you may, if you're lucky, have the life experience to answer your own question.

It must be awkward indeed, Freddie did say at one point that she was his "common law wife" (although that was probably well more for image than anything)

LOL Um, well. I'm bored and due to AL in need of anti-depressants. I'm living a great life here, can you tell? Want my opinion? No, probably not however since I'm not banned from this site I will give it anyway, heh. I think Mary Austin was a very sly little fox and she made out very well due to her patience and of course, she did like Freddie. If I had been in her shoes I would have been pretty heartbroken to discover the guy I loved had jumped the fence. I think that woman has a lot of patience and could see the end of the rainbow clearly. Is it disrespectful? I don't know, none of us will ever know what she went through or how she really feels...much less her current husband! So, it's all speculation and reading between the lines.

And since I'm filling threads. I'm *cough* ..older. If I were him (marys husband), taking into consideration age and maturity, I'd be happy to live in that nice home surrounded by wonderful furnishings and I'd thank Freddie daily for it all by blasting his music throughout the house and garden. But, that's me. Specifically "Millionaire Waltz", we'd dance to that one as it is one of my favs.

Wait, so Mary Austin is some weirdo who spends all her days, year after year crying in front of her Freddie-shrine after Freddie, who chose numerous men over her pancake-butt, whilst her husband cries all day being eternally, let's face it "a number two"....

Or, the faghag and her entire family are, to put it moderately, extremely lucky to have that brilliant house, money and whatnot and unlike many Queen fans, can MOVE ON and live their frigging lives. Poor husband, must be banging his head against a wall everyday... riiight.

Ridiculous shit.
