Side White or Side Black?

I agree about Father To Son - I great song. And of course Procession is one of thee great album intros. But Side II is just unstoppable for me. Strangely, it took me longer to warm to WQ and SDOD than LITE - I guess I thought they spoiled the fun on what is an uptempo rocking album. Again, I see the error of my ways now.

The votes for Side II don't go into individual song merits like those for Side I strangely. I guess it is just seen more as one body of work? A journey?

Curiously, my least favorite on Side II is TMOTBQ - only a couple of the sections do it for me compared to the sheer adrenalin of OB, Fairy Fellers etc. Nevermore is one of my favorit Queen songs full stop. Sadly, I can imagine Lambert tearing it a new asshole as he did with WWTLF live. A missed opportunity.

My vote for Side Black!

well like somebody already said, Side White is more accessible - but Side Black, Freddie's, is pure genius...because Queen II is synonymous to going over the top, overdoing it, overproducing, hyperbole> well you can't beat Freddie at his game, can you? Side Black it is! Main reason: The March of the Black Queen

Queen II is my favorite Queen Album, and I love every song on it! But Side Black gets my vote, although it is very close.
